Heaven and Earth is inspired by seven selected poems by poets from pre-Tang to Tang and Song Dynasties who had written many beautiful poems full of passion and feelings. Spread in six parts of the dance, the poems describe in succinct and reflective ways some of the most down to earth situations in life. The dance is a tribute to the poets and to the kind of humble peace-loving life, lived for thousands of years, between heaven and earth.
